The blackberry, whose fruits are a very aromatic and sweet fruit of our forests and gardens. They did not arouse the interest of any ancient nation, despite being widespread not only in Europe but also in Asia and Japan.

They contain a lot of vitamin C and B-complex vitamins, potassium and calcium, and are alkaline. They strengthen the immune system and help with haemorrhoids and varicose veins. They provide strength during nervousness and stress, firm up connective tissues and stimulate the activity of endocrine glands.

Just like raspberries, they were widely used in our cuisine, especially in mountainous areas where the forests were full of blackberries. Warm blackberry juice is excellent for hoarseness.

They have a neutral nature and a sour taste.
