They are grown in the tropical climates of Brazil, Australia, Indonesia, Kenya, New Zealand and South Africa. They are a source of vitamin A, thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, and the minerals zinc, copper, calcium, phosphorus, potassium and magnesium. Furthermore, they contain antioxidants, amino acids, flavones and selenium. They are also an excellent source of fructose, sucrose, maltose and protein.
