It is very difficult to distinguish it from a mandarin. A mandarin is more aromatic, but clementines stay fresh for much longer, have a thicker peel, though it is harder to peel, and they have no pips, which is why they are much more popular.

It has a refreshing nature and a sour taste. It directs downwards and preserves fluids.
