It is produced by pressing pumpkin seeds, which originally come from South and North America, although some sources state that the pumpkin originates from India. It is suitable for cold cuisine and the preparation of creams and other sweet dishes or sweet sauces and salads.

It contains unsaturated fatty acids, vitamins B, C, A, calcium, magnesium, iron, potassium and a high amount of zinc.

It is suitable for healthy nails, hair and supports prostate function.

The oil is of a warm nature and sweet taste, supports the function of the spleen, bladder, liver and promotes haematopoiesis.
