This sweet fruit grows on the date palm. It originates from Mesopotamia and from there it spread to dry and warm regions all over the world.

Dates contain all vitamins except for vitamin E and biotin. As for minerals, they contain high amounts of calcium, copper, iron and potassium. Even though dates are very sweet, they do not increase blood glucose levels and help protect arteries from clogging. They have the highest energy value of all fruits and are rich in potassium and contain almost no sodium.

They support mental freshness and concentration, boost vitality and are a great source of pantothenic acid. They support falling asleep and quality sleep.

They have a sweet taste, nourish and moisturise, and have a neutral nature.
