Description:

According to Chinese medicine, the most common cause of being overweight or obese is a weakening of the spleen and the subsequent accumulation of dampness in the body. The spleen is an organ, or rather a system, responsible for transforming food into Qi and blood. Qi and blood are the fuel for our body. If this transformative ability of the spleen is weakened, it not only produces too little Qi and blood, but also begins to produce excessive pathological dampness. This dampness can manifest, for example, as gynaecological discharge, swelling, or the discharge of thin mucus from the nose. One of its manifestations is also being overweight. What we call "fat deposits" is, according to Chinese medicine, merely an accumulation of dampness and mucus.

The herbs in the mixture strengthen the spleen's ability to transform food, support the digestive process, and drain excessive dampness from the body.
